Where are you located now and where are you originally from?
I am located in Dallas, Texas and originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Born and raised KC blood.
Who has been your greatest influence?
Honestly, my greatest influence is myself. I don’t mean that in a narcissistic way either. Well, at least my older self vs now. That’s what drives me to keep going. Seeing where I was a year ago vs now and where I’m going to be 5 years ago.
What is your latest and greatest?
I just dropped my EP, “Bad Guy,” on October 23rd. I’m mainly working on getting some more visual content for that right now.
What are you most looking forward to in 2021?
I know I’m going to turn 2021 up! It’s my year and I mean that much. I’m looking forward to more connections and more traveling. Honestly, I think 2021 will be a year I can finally focus on my career and how I can get in the ears of millions of listeners.
What would you say to your younger self if you could?
That old AK.. man I’d tell her that she can do it. I’d say you really did it. All those negative emotions the subconscious carries let them go because there are people who literally look up to you. I’d say shake back baby girl because everything happens for a reason. Lastly, I’d say AK don’t turn your back on anyone who cares for you.. just don’t.
On a scale from ONE to TEN, how driven are you?
I’m so hungry.. me and my dreams have this love and hate relationship for sure. Music can be my biggest heartbreak. I don’t know if it makes sense but I definitely get sad when I can’t make music but when I do oh it’s like “yasssss magic”.. music is the toxic ex I’ll never leave alone... Periodt
How much do you believe LUCK plays a role in success?
Um not so much. I believe in the universe, energy, frequencies and vibes you know.. someone may call it luck.. but not me.. my luck is my faith in the Most High and my universe.
