BEING BOBBY KENDRICK
The Nashville based artist Bobby Kendrick talks his new music and the power of it.
How does your music affect the world?
I believe that music is most powerful when it can put words to feelings that most people aren't able to do. I believe my music taps into everyday people, giving them the opportunity to join in the celebration.
Who has been your biggest cheerleader as an artist? My beautiful wife, Christie. Tell us about your latest release! "I'm No Angel" will be available on all music platforms April 28th. Although the song may bring a tear, there is redemption to be had. What have been your greatest challenges as an artist?
My biggest challenge is believing that I have something to say that people want to hear. Learning to trust my own instincts has been a process. What have been your greatest achievements as an artist? Any time someone requests my song, sings along with my song, or has the urge to dance along, to me, is one of my greatest achievements. I hope this never changes. How do you find peace in an often chaotic world? Learning to not get involved with chaos is a big piece. I start every day with a cup of tea and personal manifestations. What does "making it" mean to you? There are many different levels of "making it". I very much look forward to headlining at Red Rock in Colorado. That will be a cool "making it" moment. Where can our readers go to learn more about your projects? You can follow me on Instagram, where I go live every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 PM Central Time.
